No Shows

Okay, listeners! Because of the Jazz Marathon this weekend and the Thanksgiving break next weekend, I will be back on the air on December 6th, 2008 at 5 PM Eastern.
So, your mission, if you choose to accept it, will be to tune in then and listen!

11/15/08 *8th Episode* "A Few Requests and 80s Music"

On a wet and rainy day, there's nothing better than listening to some great 80s rock. Over all, a good show. A major American Psycho reference before "Hip to Be Square". Two calls: one from my cousins in New Jersey, requesting What I Like About You; the other was from Elijah about American Psycho.

The Playlist:
Dolly Dagger by Jimi Hendrix (for Mitch Mitchell)
Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer
Maxwell's Silver Hammer by The Beatles (Twitter request from coyotesqrl)
The Brazilian by Genesis (Twitter request from chronic_rift)
What I Like About You by The Romantics (for my family in NJ)
Hip to Be Square by Huey Lewis and the News

11/8/08 *Seventh Show* (Requests and Others)

Today's show went well. Craig called in to hear more Chicago. Otherwise, I didn't get any more calls. Oh, and sorry that 25 or 6 to 4 got cut short.

The Playlist:

Blue Orchid by the White Stripes (for my friend, Mike)
Saturday in the Park by Chicago (for my brother, Craig)
Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham! (for a dorm mate, Constantine)
Career Opportunities by the Clash (for an old school friend, Duncan)
Keep Yourself Alive by Queen (a birthday song for another friend, Angela)
Dimension by Wolfmother (I was in the mood to play some Wolfmother.)
Four Sticks by Led Zeppelin (Going out to Wil Wheaton)
25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago (Another Chicago song for my brother.)

11/1/08 *Sixth Show* (The Pre-Election Day Show)

Today went well, except for one hiccup. I was going to start off with When the Levee Breaks, but I pushed the button for the left turntable instead of the right turntable, causing Gimme Some Money to begin playing. Oh well. Next week's show is going to be requests, so post your requests in the comments! :)

The Playlist:

Gimme Some Money by Spinal Tap (Money is what greases the wheels in DC. And it's what Dick Cheney bathes in.)
When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin (Bush's legacy.)
Mrs. Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel (For Sarah Palin, the VPILF.)
I'm Alive by ELO (For John McCain. Don't know how much longer he has.)
Mr. President (Have Pity on the Working Man) by Randy Newman (For the campaigners still working.)
All I Want is You by Barry Louis Polisar (For Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston.)
Ohio by CSNY (In memory of Kent State.)
Fortunate Son by CCR (A great political anthem to close out the show.)

Vote on November 4th!!!!
